Brittany Jarret is a multimedia professional from the Sunshine State who enjoys passionate story-telling and decoding social media trends. She recently wrapped up her time as a Sports Betting Editorial Coordinator, a newly created position at Vox Media's SB Nation. In this role, she developed and executed multiple tracking systems for tentpole events, editorial content, and promotions to reach partnership goals across 150+ branded communities. Previously, she worked at Axios Media as the only editorial and social intern for the award-winning show Axios on HBO.
Some of her accomplishments include: reaching the Florida Public Radio network with her story on the vaping epidemic, adjusting to a growing sports betting industry that she was unfamiliar with, and assisting with the launch of a new women’s sports website called Breakaway.
Jarret is a proud graduate of Florida A&M University’s School of Journalism and Graphic Communication. She has experience working with other large media companies like NBCUniversal, Sirius XM, and PBS. She joined organizations like the Online News Association and the National Association of Black Journalists to help expand her skills and network. Her passion for writing and storytelling is deeply displayed through her continuous work as a journalist.
